Been cold and rainy for awhile....

so I have been missing sunny days along Lake Michigan.  All you Michiganders, go dip your toes in Lake Michigan for me pleeeeeease!  I also know that th 4th of July picnics are around the corner so have a burger and potato salad and a Mountain Dew for me!  Oh and somebody has to go to the fireworks too!

So easy and usually comforting to say....

I admit at times it can be super convicting also.  This verse kept popping up all of our last term.  Yesterday a co-laborer gave it to me as a birthday present.  I have decided that it is not one of those one time verses.  It is a life long process of obeying and understanding it.  I have the idea that the only time I will truly obey and understand it...will the be the first few seconds when I come face to face with my Lord and Savior.  I say seconds cuz after that I will run into His open arms and then I will sit at His feet for all eternity.
